My 6-year-old spent a solid hour filling the little animals with beads and confetti, and sealing them up was easy enough that she could do it herself. The keychains were the best part — she clipped one to her backpack right away.
The confetti swirling inside the keychains when my daughter runs with them is such a fun little detail—she's made three animals already and loves shaking them to watch the colors dance. Sealing them up was easy enough for her to do with just a bit of my help, perfect for her age.
My kids are obsessed with these things. Filling the little animals with the sparkly beads and confetti kept them busy for over an hour, and the final keychains actually look cute enough to hang on their backpacks.
