The vocabulary lists were a lifesaver for my 7-year-old, who usually gets stuck on what word to use next. She spent a solid hour decorating her pirate story with the stickers before she'd even start writing.
My daughter finished her first story in one sitting, and the vocabulary list helped her swap out boring words for exciting ones. The stickers were a nice touch too, she used them to illustrate her pirate adventure.
The writing prompts got my son actually excited to write, which I didn't think was possible. He's been using the vocabulary lists to swap in bigger words all on his own. The stickers are a nice touch too, he puts one on every page he finishes.
