Con il supporto della Memory Science, WORDABLES utilizza immagini intelligenti, associazioni di parole, umorismo e giochi di suoni per aiutarti a imparare nuove parole e, cosa più importante, a ricordarle! Parole importanti, rese brillantemente divertenti.
I bought these for my 11-year-old who usually tunes out anything that looks like homework, but the humor on the cards got him actually laughing while he learned "reluctant" and "feeble." The sound-play really does make the words stick; he used three of them at dinner without being prompted.
The drawings are so clever that my daughter remembers words like "obfuscate" days later without me even quizzing her. She's 12 and finds the humor genuinely funny, which is rare for study tools.
My 11-year-old actually asks to practice vocab now—the memory tricks stick because they're funny, not boring lists. We've gone through the deck twice and she still laughs at the silly sound-play cards before shouting out the right definition.
