Bought this for a long car ride and it kept my six-year-old quietly occupied for a solid half hour — the animals are tricky to spot, so it's actually challenging enough for her. The water pen makes the colors fade in a few minutes, which means we can replay the same page endlessly without buying any
My three-year-old can actually use the water pen by herself, which is a huge win for quiet time. The pages fade back to blank in a few minutes, so she never gets bored of finding the hidden animals again.
My four-year-old asks for this every single day now. The water pen is so much easier than regular markers, and watching the colors fade so we can start over is genuinely magical for her. We've used it on road trips and quiet time, and it keeps her engaged for way longer than I expected.
