Spark creativity with this science-powered craft! Arrange stencils on sun paper, let the sunlight work its magic for 10 minutes, and watch stunning silhouettes appear. Dip the paper in water to enhance the effect, let it dry, and then add vibrant colors with markers to complete your masterpiece!
My daughter spent a whole afternoon arranging the leaf stencils on the paper, and watching the silhouettes develop after just 10 minutes in the sun honestly amazed both of us. Dipping it in water at the end made the blue so much richer.
Rainy day rescue — we set the stencils out on the porch, waited the 10 minutes, and the leaf silhouettes came out so crisp the kids taped them straight to the fridge. Dipping the paper in water really does deepen the blue, which surprised me.
My kids were skeptical about the "magic" part until they dipped the paper in water and the colors suddenly popped. The stencils are sturdy enough that my 5-year-old could arrange them without tearing anything. We've already used it three afternoons in a row.
