The sheer number of pieces means my kids can set up an entire grocery store without fighting over the same apple. The foods look real enough that I've caught myself double-checking the little croissants before tossing them in the toy bin.
My three-year-old actually gasped when she opened the box and saw the tiny sushi rolls and pizza slices—the detail is that convincing. The 100 pieces are sturdy enough that they've survived being "cooked" and "served" dozens of times without a single crack.
The little cashier at my house has been ringing up "meals" nonstop since this box arrived. Everything from the snacks to the desserts looks surprisingly real, and I love that the set includes a proper menu to inspire their pretend play.
