The vocabulary lists are what make this work — my daughter flips through them for ideas before she starts writing, and suddenly she's got a whole page about Woody and the other toys going on a rescue. Kept her busy for almost two hours without a single screen involved.
My kid tore into the box and immediately started writing a Buzz Lightyear rescue mission using the vocabulary lists, which kept her busy for a solid hour. The prompts are just open-ended enough that she felt like a real author, and I love that it sneaks in spelling practice without her noticing.
The vocabulary lists are a clever touch—my daughter actually used them to write a story about Buzz rescuing Woody from the claw machine, and she stayed focused for over an hour. It’s the perfect mix of guided creativity and free play.
