My daughter spent a whole rainy afternoon coloring the unicorn and princess sheets, and watching them curl and puff up the second we added water never got old. We threaded a keychain through the hole once it dried and now it hangs on her backpack.

My six-year-old was skeptical that water would make her painted princess "puff up" — the look on her face when it actually worked was priceless. We hung both finished pieces on her doorknob with the keychain hole and they've survived a week of opening and closing without falling apart.

My daughter painted the unicorn and we hung it on her doorknob once it dried—the puff-up effect is way cooler in person than the pictures show. The little hole for the keychain was a nice touch, and she's already asking to make the princess next.
