My 7-year-old has always frozen up when it comes to writing, but this activity has her happily mixing up word cards to make silly sentences. It’s the first thing she asks for after school, and I’ve noticed her reading out loud with way more confidence.

The cut-out word cards are sturdy enough for my kindergartner to handle without bending them, which I appreciate. It's a nice change from worksheets, though I do wish the box included a few more picture prompts for extra variety.
